The Ambleside skatepark was renamed in honour of Peter Sullivan on July 12, 2016). Sullivan, owner of Supra Distribution, advocated for a modern skatepark at the Ambleside skatepark site, and helped raise $100 000 toward the cost of the new park. Media release
Beside the youth centre on 43 St, and behind the baseball diamonds on 47 Ave.
Directions:
Go west from highway 20, or east from 50th (Main) St on 47 Ave.
Turn north on 43 Ave
Turn right into the Youth Centre driveway then continue into the parking lot, the skatepark is at the south end of the lot behind the Youth Centre building
Go east on 43 St from 49 Ave (North bound Gaetz Ave.) or 50 Ave (south bound Gaetz Ave.). Turn left at the 3 way stop (48 Ave.) then take an immediate right onto 43 St. The skatepark is on your right.
