Features

  • Central horseshoe bowl with plaza features surrounding. Something for all beginners to intermediate. Bowl, ledges, flat banks, quarter pipes, rails, hubbas, manual pads.
  • Parking in adjacent parking lot
  • Great park with good layout and room. Nothing too difficult but even the most experienced users will find something to enjoy.

  • Behind the Centrepoint Theatres on Centrepoint Drive
  •  East of Woodroffe Ave, south of College Ave.
  • Large parking lot for the theatres
  • Close to a plaza with stores and restaurants

  • Legacy is of older style with features for all levels.
  • Park includes an open ended bowl with spine, plaza area, rails, hubbas, flat banks, quarter pipes, stairs, manual pads and ledges.
  • Lot’s of features with a big funbox in the middle. At 18300 sq ft, Legacy is one of the biggest parks in the Ottawa area.

Features

The 10,000 square foot indoor Sk8Park includes:

  • ledges, stairs, rails, gaps, boxes, banks, custom ramps,
  • a wall ride with five feet of vert
  • a 32 foot wide 4′ mini ramp with two 5′ extensions and a 6′ roll in that leads to an 11 foot high bank.

The park provides for a great experience. No matter what your skate ability – beginner to advanced.

No age limit but the park is usually scheduled by age:

  • 12 & Under
  • 13+

Requirements

  • No waiver required
  • Helmets are mandatory – pads are recommended.
  • Skateboards, scooters, and inline skates  are permitted.
  • Bicycles, unicycles, longboards, and RipStiks are not permitted.

Financial assistance is available for local youth

The Recreation Youth Centre has a full gymnasium, games area (pool table, tabletop shuffleboard, air hockey tables, foosball, table tennis, large screen TV, Wii, and assorted board games).

  • Older park with a variety of features. Flat banks, quarter pipes, hips, hubbas, rails, table tops, ledges.
  • All concrete skatepark, with lights
  • This park is geared more towards intermediate users due to the size and steepness of its features. Beginners will still enjoy themselves.
