  • On 22 Ave behind the Nanton Community Centre and the Bomber Command Museum
    • Directions: Turn west on 18 St from Hwy 2, turn north on 22 Ave. The skatepark will be on your right
  • Also visible and accessible from the Community Center parking lot
    • Turn into the parking lot south of the aircraft on a pedestalal, the skatepark is in the park to the west
  • Several gas stations, restaurants, and stores in town a short distance from the skagtepark

Features

Modular park with some concrete obstacles and some Skatelite Pro ramps

Skatepark monitors on duty when ever the skatepark is open.

Rules:

  • Hemets required
  • Skateboards only. No bikes, blades, or scooters
  • A no smoking facility

Hours:

Please confirm open hours directly with Westside, or via Facebook.

  • 4pm-Dusk on school days,
  • 10AM-Dusk weekends and holidays
  • Skatepark is shut down in winter and bad weather. Park is fenced and obstacles can be chained.

At the Westside Rec Centre, 2000 69 St SW

From the north, south, or east you can enter the Westside Rec Centre parking lot off of 69 St. If coming from the west there is an entrance east of 69 St. on 17 Ave. The skatepark is right on the corner and can be seen from the street.
