Features

This is the largest of the three skateparks built in the first year under the Calgary Skateboard Amenities Strategy. Construction started in 2015 and was completed in February 2016, other than landscaping which was done in the spring. Features include:

  • Flat – down hubba ledge
  • 7 stair set with handrail & up-gap
  • Cantilevered steep wall turnaround
  • Curved ledge
  • Funbox with rooftop ledge and rail, hip and wedge-to-wedge
  • Slappy wall with China bank style inset ledges
  • Ledge / manny pad combination with gap
  • Drop-in / Turnaround quarterpipe
  • Flow bowl deep end with pool coping
  • Elevated pocket
  • Steep bank extension wall
  • Pump bump

  • On the southern most edge of Delburne, on 18th St.
  • Directions: Take the Delburne exit east from Highway 21.  Turn right at the first intersection onto 28 Aven then left on 18 St.  Go about 6 blocks, the skatepark will be on your right behind a small quonset building.

Nearby

  • FasGas with C Store  5 blocks west at 28 Ave.
  • Downtown Delburne a few blocks away.
