From the north, south, or east you can enter the Westside Rec Centre parking lot off of 69 St. If coming from the west there is an entrance east of 69 St. on 17 Ave. The skatepark is right on the corner and can be seen from the street.

Skateboards, scooters, and inline skates are permitted.
Bicycles, unicycles, longboards, and RipStiks are not permitted.

The Recreation Youth Centre has a full gymnasium, games area (pool table, tabletop shuffleboard, air hockey tables, foosball, table tennis, large screen TV, Wii, and assorted board games).
The SBC restaurant, in the building that formerly housed the Smilin’ Buddha Cabaret, mixes good food, music, and skateboarding. In addition to enjoying a coffee, smoothie, or bowl of chili, visitors can session the largest indoor ramp in BC. SBC also stocks boards, trucks, wheels, helmets, and pads to meet your skateboarding needs as well.
The Compound is an indoor training facility for the Riders on Board Snowboard Club. They use skateboarding as a cross-training activity for their snowboarders’ training program. Riders on Board opens The Compound to the public for drop in skate sessions for specific limited hours. Check their website for hours and waiver before going!
