Waay down east in Thunder Bay Ontario, skaters can now skate all year round at the new Sanctuary Indoor Skatepark thanks to a partnership between the Thunder Bay Skateboard Coalition and the Elim Community Christian Centre. While we in the west are too far from Thunder Bay for a road trip to skate Sanctuary, we need indoor skateparks out here too. Skateparktour.ca offers this story hoping to inspire locals wherever they live to find a partnership in their community that would provide more places to skate, especially through the winter months.
